LABA Classic Eyelash Extension Course
About This Course
To be a successful Lash Artist, a complete understanding of the theory and science behind the craft is critical to future mastery and success. LABA has developed an in-depth blended learning course that provides the foundational knowledge necessary to start your career in eyelash extensions. Your first 8 to 10 hours of learning will be spent studying core principles, science, and theory. This is a self-paced, online course that includes mini-quizzes to help measure comprehension and understanding. The second section of the Classic Eyelash Extension Course includes an instructor-led, classroom experience that is about 6 to 8 hours of lessons and modules that focuses on the skills you must master in order to be a professional lash artist and conduct Classic lash application services.
Course Fee: $1088.00 (including student kit). The student is responsible for all other related costs including travel and meals. The student will also be responsible for bringing the appropriate eyewear needed based on their individual needs. They must also make arrangements for their model who needs to be available from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM the day of the class.
Part One: Fundamentals of Eyelash Extensions (Part one is 100% online, self-paced, and takes approximately 8-10 hours to complete).

Prerequisites: Must be 18 years of age or older. Students in the United States must have a valid cosmetology or esthetics license. Authorized health care providers may qualify for this program. Please check with your state and local agencies regarding credentials and requirements to conduct lash or brow services. Students are responsible for following all health departments, CDC, boards of cosmetology, and other regulatory agencies' guidelines. They are also responsible to have professional liability insurance and other insurances in place as required.
Length of Course: Approximately 16 hours (not including additional self-paced study and practice after the course). The student will complete 8-10 hours of online training prior to attending the "in-person" portion of the class. All of Part One must be completed prior to the day of the class which begins at 9:30 AM and ends at 4:30 PM.
Location: LABA Group classroom courses take place in various locations throughout the state. Many courses are scheduled to be conducted in our LABA Academy in Encino, California. Courses are also conducted at our LABA Affiliate Salon locations throughout the state of California. Salons wishing to have a private training course for their staff onsite may make arrangements by contacting LABA Academy Director, Kelli Modica.
Learning Format: This course includes a blended learning experience including online, group classroom, and live instruction. Class size is limited to 8 students. Students will work on live models they arrange for the practical portion of the course.
Access to Online Support: Students receive access to the LABA online program including the LABA Fundamentals of Eyelash Extensions and LABA Classic Eyelash Extension Course as part of their learning experience. They have 12 months of access to the program from the date of purchase and registration. This gives the new learner the opportunity to study and have references for continued skill development after the class has been completed.
Recommended Additional Support: LABA strongly encourages its students to engage the support of a LABA Coach. Students may choose from one individual 30-minute coaching session or a series of sessions from an experienced LABA Trainer and Coach. Your session(s) are tailored to your needs and key objectives. Coaching sessions may be purchased here before, during, or after completion of the course.
Learning Pathway: Upon significant practice, study, and mastery of the LABA Classic Eyelash Extension Course, we recommend that the student enrolls in the LABA Volume Course as their next learning experience. Students may choose from online, virtual, classroom, or private training. As previously mentioned, students should consider hiring a LABA Lash Coach to assist them on their lash journey to success.
Certificate of Completion: The student will receive a certificate of completion for the LABA Classic Eyelash Extensions Course after all course work has been completed.
'Find a Lash Artist' Listing: Upon successful completion of the Classic Eyelash Extension Course, demonstration of proficiency by submitting 2 before & after photos, and continued utilization of LABA products as demonstrated in purchases, the LABA Lash Artist will be able to be listed in the LABA referral program.
How to Register: Pay for your course by adding it to your shopping cart. You will then receive an email from a LABA team member regarding the next steps, including how to set up your credentials and access to the online portion of the course. Providing there is space available in the class you have chosen, you will be confirmed into the course and your student kit will be sent to you. You must bring your kit with you to the class.
* Please note the rules, laws, and licensure requirements vary from state to state and country to country. All students are responsible for complying with all governing agencies in the practice of eyelash and brow services. Most states in the US require an individual to have either a cosmetology license or esthetics license in order to conduct eyelash and most brow services. Health and safety regulations vary from state to state and even county by county. It is the student's responsibility to follow all protocols as established by the health department and other regulatory bodies. By taking this online class, the student assumes all responsibility and liability. There are no refunds available on this course or the student kit.
