Five Beauty Days in Las Vegas
It's taken us a few days to catch up after a week in Las Vegas. It was a magical trip and all of us came away excited to share everything with our lash and brow tribe. The week kicked off with Stacy, Justine, Marc and Melanie having a lovely dinner at Cut located at the Venetian. Unfortunately, Kelli came down with COVID a few days before the trip and was unable to join us. She is better now and feeling great.
On Wednesday we attended the Elleebana Symposium at Caesar's Palace. It was definitely magical day. There is nothing better than to be in a room with hundreds of lash and brow gurus from all over the world. This is our first year as an authorized US distributor for Elleebana. Everything we knew and had experienced so far with this wonderful company was even more apparent throughout the day. Otto shared his vision for the future journey of Elleebana. We also had the opportunity to hear about all of the new products that are coming soon. The Lash & Brow Academy is looking forward to sharing all of the news on product releases as soon as we have all the dates!
The speakers were amazing and we learned a lot about social media, developing content and of course how to use specific apps to create videos (like step by steps). We have lots of homework! We also had a chance to spend time poolside with the Elleebana team.
Our brains were full of new things and Thursday we were ready to hangout by the pool with the Elleebana team along with other educators and distributors from all over the country.
Friday we all went our separate ways to take care of business, catch up with emails and rest a bit. On Saturday we went to the IBS and IECSC shows at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It was nice to be at a show again. We had a chance to see old friends and colleagues. We also enjoyed seeing new products, taking some classes, and getting inspired.
In the evening we attended the Lash Social hosted by LashCast and Lash Boss Radio. It was held at a "secret" penthouse suite at the Sahara Hotel. The team had a blast seeing everyone, including some celebrity guests and industry icons like Otto and Zoe Mitter from Elleebana.
Sunday we all flew home! All of us at The Lash & Brow Academy are so blessed to be in this wonderful industry. One common thread we noticed throughout the program was how enthusiastic everyone was to be back in the beauty world-live and in-person. Thanks for all of your support and we wish you a wonderful second half of 2022! Looking forward to more chances to see everyone before 2023!
